It’s Not Too Early To Secure Your Ibiza Hotels For The Summer’s Opening Parties
Ibiza is a hot destination for a summer break, but if you fancy joining the crowds at the huge club season opening parties, you need to start planning ahead. These parties are the biggest events of the season and understandably the most popular and best-priced Ibiza hotels will fill up fast. You don’t want to miss the party of a lifetime!
The popularity of these events is so great the many revellers will book their holidays even before the party dates have been announced. Fortunately there are websites which predict the dates for opening parties at many of the island’s most popular clubs based on the previous year’s calendar. These predictions are surprisingly accurate, and so many holidaymakers can book their hotels and airfare as early as possible to get the best rates. Many Ibiza hotels, especially those around San Antonio, temporarily raise their rates on opening weekends so you will want to get in early.
The opening events begin at the end of May, and usually start with a truly big night out at Pure Pacha, one of the biggest clubs on the islands. As it’s open every season of the year, it’s one of the biggest and favourite clubs of Ibiza revellers. A week later you’ll have the Es Paradis Opening Party, at the club famous for its swimming pool dancefloor and Fiesta Del Aqua water parties. Next door to Es is the Eden nightclub, whose opening party is likely to draw in the international DJs it usually offers, and therefore tickets will go very quickly once they go on sale. There is also the Privilege Opening Party, at a club which has the biggest dancefloor in the world. Some of Privilege’s previous parties have been the most talked-about events of the year and if you want to join in the fun, you’ll have to get your tickets promptly! In addition to these events is the Space Opening Party, headlined by Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada and John Digweed among other big names. This club has a huge outdoor terrace and has won Best Global Club on two occasions.
